Job summary:


  • With an average annual budget of £6bn, there is a need to ensure that public monies allocated to Homes England are managed timely, accurately and in line with programme parameters. This role sits within the Transaction Services Team within Finance, and will support the Transaction Services Manager in the delivery of the lease car scheme, insurance matters and finance transactional processing activities.

Job description:


Our activities play a key role in ensuring the delivery of Homes England's strategic objectives and keeps the frontline operations working effectively.

This role will have key relationships with the Transaction Services Manager, finance colleagues, agency colleagues, external solicitors, suppliers and customers

Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with management of Homes England fleet
  • Prompt provision of quotes through to the ordering of fleet vehicles
  • Direct liaison with lease companies, manufacturers & preferred car dealerships
  • Calculate and reconcile lease car payroll deductions and maintain P11D information
  • Support the team with insurance requirements, including liaison with Insurers and appointed legal representatives to ensure all claims are concluded satisfactorily
  • Working as part of a team to deal with post, manage shared mailboxes and respond to telephone enquiries received from internal and external customers, ensuring a satisfactory resolution within agreed timescales, delivering a 1st class service every time

Person specification:


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Confidence in prioritising workloads and the ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Good organisation skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work at pace. Processing high volume, high value transactions accurately and competently is essential
  • A professional, courteous and respectful manner at all times
  • Competent Excel skills and the ability to extract data from multiple sources
