Shropshire Council's Early Help Team would like to recruit to an Early Help Family Worker.

This would be an opportunity to work as part of a well-established and experienced team to support vulnerable families and families in need of early help.


The role will include working with families in their homes, providing practical 'hands on' support to role model essential parenting skills, such has cooking, cleaning and time management, and empower parents to manage and understand their children's behaviours.

It will also include some direct work with children and young people as directed by the Early Help Lead Professional to support child and adolescent mental and physical wellbeing.


We are hoping to recruit an enthusiastic individual, who has a sensible and logical approach to working, and who would welcome the opportunity to offer support to some of our more vulnerable families across Shropshire.
