Exciting opportunities has arisen for highly motivated individuals to join our admin team with the Suffolk & North East Essex Long Covid Assessment Service.

We recognise that administrators are vital to the smooth operation of our service.

It is essential that the successful applicant can work efficiently & effectively as you will act as the first contact for patients that have been referred to the service.


You will join an established administration team currently based at 86 Sandy Hill Lane, Ipswich, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals including nurses, therapists, Social Prescribers and General Practitioners.

Your training will be at 86 Sandy Hill Lane, Ipswich which has free on-site parking. The opportunity to work from home will be available once full training has been provided.

This will require a strong and stable internet connection.

  • Distribution of referrals and paperwork from a shared mailbox
  • Outbound calls to referrers (GP Surgeries) regarding incomplete referrals or missing information
  • New referrals being processed in SystmOne
  • Appointment bookings for Video Group Clinics
  • SNELCAS & Chest Physio
  • Management of appointments telephone, video and face to face
  • Use of Outlook & Microsoft Teams
  • Outbound calls to patients offering appointments either VGC, initial Ax, follow up or final follow up.
  • Inbound calls dealing with general enquiries
  • Onward referrals referring patients to serviced deemed appropriate by SNEELCAS clinicians. Use of appropriate referral forms in SystmOne.
  • Ensuring Resource Directory is up to date with the latest information.
  • Management of data reporting using Microsoft Excel.
