Activity & Events volunteering is a great way to develop your skills, grow as a person and make like-minded new friends.
The Role of the Volunteer
An Activities & Events Volunteer is someone who supports group activities and events ran by the London Community Team. You will support a young person with complex needs to develop skills, friendships, and local connections.
You could be helping out an independence skills workshop, supporting a group visit to a London landmark or creative session, or become a volunteer leader and cofacilitate an activity.
You can pick the activities you are interested in, based on your own skills and passions.The programme is open to all volunteers who are 18 and over. You don't need to have previous experience volunteering or caring for disabled people. We welcome people from all backgrounds and with all interests. An Enhanced Disclosure & Barring check will be required for this volunteer role.
