Accounts Payable Clerk

Permanent

Based in Shoreham

Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

£24,000 - £26,000 per annum


Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new job opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a leading and well-known business in the Shoreham area on a permanent basis.


Your duties will include:


  • Pay suppliers on are paid and on time
  • High volume processing of invoices
  • Answer any payment queries raised by suppliers
  • Check supplier statements
  • Match invoices received to approved purchase orders on Sage
  • Invoices are authorised and coded by approvers
  • Ensure credit limits and terms are fully exploited but suppliers are not paid late
  • Make foreign payments to overseas suppliers
  • Reconcile the aged creditors to the general ledger balance sheet account
  • Provide support for cashflow forecasting

Key requirements:


  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Confident in using Excel

Job Types:

Salary:
£23,125.44-£26,000.90 per year
