Milk Education is partnered with a secondary provision in the heart of Trafford who cater to young people aged 11-19 with special educational needs.

All pupils have moderate or severe learning difficulties but many have additional needs such as autisticspectrum condition, social and emotional mental health and physical disabilities.

This nurturing school is looking to appoint a Math's Teacher to start immediately who can work on a full-time, long-term basis.

There is the possibility of being offered a permanent contract later down the line after successfully completing a three monthprobationary period.

The successful Math's Teacher will be teaching Math's to a small class of 10 students at a time with SEMH/MLD.

This role will involve planning and marking. They will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, through planning engaging lessons toenable all students to make progress.

They will be expected to work closely with fellow teachers, head of school and support staff to plan the school's work, develop ideas for lessons, and approaches to teaching.

Through this work, the successful Math's Teacherwill help shape a students knowledge of Math's and build on their essential skills.

Job requirements:

Math's PGCE with QTS/QTLS or equivalent
Recent experience of teaching Math's in a secondary school setting within a two year period
Experience of working with young people with additional needs is essential
Two professional references, one coming from a previous teaching post
