Job Overview:
(Note:
In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required)

l To provide leadership to care staff within Faith In Me Home Care

l To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager

l To supervise the care delivery within the service

l To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date


Location:
Wadebridge & Padstow.


Working Hours:
4 DAYS OUT IN THE COMMUNITY / RUNNING AREA

4.5 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the CEO/manager - Darrell Heather


Role Specific Duties:
l Ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing

l To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of Faith In Me Home Care and supervise staff

l To organise care delivery in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager and within the financial plans

l Ensure that the care service is delivered to Service Users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards

l Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

l Ensuring that all activities such as personal care and medication administration meet the required standards

l Preparing reports related to the progress of patients

l Planning and utilising resources and staying updated with the clinical knowledge to ensure that patients receive the best care

l Rostering and scheduling staff, service users

As Area Manager you will expected to cover care provision where unable to cover shifts with health care assistant

Organize your own office time to complete such tasks

l Meeting new clients and assessment planning

l Arranging staff meetings and staff spot checks and supervision

l Service Users quality surveys Checks

l Medication checks and reviews (responsible for all clients within your area.


Working with Others:
l Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Faith In Me Home Care

l Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users

Personal Responsibilities:
l Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management

Attend weekly managers meetings

Dealing with conversations with district nurses, Gps and Social workers

Good Team Building and a working relationship to your new team


Salary:
£12.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Experience:

- providing care: 1 year (required)

- supervisory: 1 year (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
