Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Technician to join our team.

As an Animal Technician, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to the animals in our facility.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals with a passion for animal welfare and veterinary care.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks related to the care and wellbeing of animals, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health
Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians or supervisors
Assist with handling and restraining animals during examinations or procedures
Maintain accurate records of animal health, behavior, and any treatments or observations
Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, equipment, and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Provide enrichment activities to promote mental stimulation and socialization for animals
Assist with the transportation of animals within the facility

Experience:

Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting is preferred
Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
Familiarity with veterinary terminology and medical treatments is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as some animals may require assistance

£15.00-£19.00 per hour
