I am currently looking for a Women's Refuge Support Worker to join one of our clients services based in East London.

The Women's Refuge Worker role is on a rota Monday - Sunday. The shift pattern is 10.00am - 6.00pm and 2.00pm pm. The occasional sleepin is also required which is 11.00pm am.


Within the role you will be working with women who have Learning Disabilities and Mental Health who are fleeing from domestic violence.

If you have any experience working within Learning Disabilities or Mental Health services you would be ideal for thisrole.

Responsibilities for the Refuge Worker role:

  • Completing and reviewing Support plans for the service users
  • Reviewing risk assessments including risktaking interventions
  • Completing monthly key worker reports around progress and the goals of the service users
  • Supporting service users to maintain their independence and wellbeing


For the Women's Refuge Support Worker position you will need an Enhanced DBS within a year or one that is on the update service.
