Project Manager - Insurance, IT Projects - Applications, Agile/Scrum, Guildford, Permanent, £80k +Bonus +BenefitsGlobal Insurance Company currently seeks a Project Manager to deliver multiple IT projects from a business focus with dependencies in Enterprise Application environments.
Project Manager will be required to engage stakeholders as well as technical teams and project manage the delivery of specific requirements within the business.
The role will be heavily business focussed and be relied upon by key stakeholders in Underwriting,Claims and Operations to deliver enhancements of IT systems with dependency for delivery from a global development team (onshore/offshore) and inhouse infrastructure operations teams.
In the short term, you will understand the business objectives and benefits and acquire approval for the project to proceed and manage requirements gathering &and delivery phases through to transition to BAU support teams.
Working within software development environments (from a high level perspective) the Project Manager will work within the full life cycle to engage stakeholders, gather requirements, plan, estimate, execute and deliver enhancements to systems listed above.
Senior management reporting on progress, budget and compliance issues along with matrix management of cross-functional team will also form a major element of this role.
