The Education Access Service is responsible for ensuring that all children of statutory school age are able to benefit from their education.

We are looking to recruit two more Children Not in School Caseworkers to join a retained team to carry out a range of statutory functions.

You will be a creative individual and confident communicator, with the ability to engage with hard to reach families, a natural problem solver and negotiator who can gain the confidence and respect of service users and colleagues alike.

The work will involve time spent in family homes and you must be prepared to travel across the county (and sometimes cross border) to attend meetings and visit parents.

The role will be challenging, and you will require self-motivation and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet competing demands and strict deadlines.
