Overview

The Technical Services Administrator will be part of the Technical Services Team, responsible for delivering and supporting key internal technical and control services for Corporate Markets and working with the systems that are intrinsic to our business, including Euroclear Bank and Euroclear UK and International, SWIFT and our internal system MSL.

The Technical Services Administrator will be based on a hybrid basis at our Gresham Street office in London, so will need to be within a commutable distance of this location.


What you'll be doing:


  • Using internal software to monitor, input and settle transactions, including stock deposits, stock withdrawals and registering electronic transfer of title
  • Providing regular and meaningful updates to external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Complying with key controls, procedures and processes, seeking improvements where possible
  • Assisting with the control of user accesses and with the testing for new internal software
  • Keeping informed and up to date with key business and legislation changes to enable you to deal with internal and external queries
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission for the end of day reconciliations whilst investigating and resolving any issues, liaising with the relevant areas and reporting any issues as required
  • Ensuring working relationships are built and maintained internally and externally
  • Supporting and assisting other team members during busy periods and holiday absence
  • Assisting and dealing with any adhoc duties within the department
  • Offering assistance and providing solutions to our stakeholders by highlighting our internal software capabilities

What we're looking for:


  • Exceptional Excel skills, VLOOKUP and creating Macro's level, with basic programming skills and SQL database coding
  • A fundamental understanding and appetite for software development
  • The drive and desire to learn more and develop your knowledge
  • The flexibility to work as part of a team within a shift pattern between our core hours of 08:00 and 19:00, with additional out of hours "oncall" shift available
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive, solution focused attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Great attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • The capability to prioritise your workload, managing your time and adhering to strict deadlines and targets
