The Training Officer will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of the training programmes within the Catering Departments remit as identified within the Trusts Training needs Analysis


The Post holder will co-ordinate the Trusts Mandatory sessions for the cross-site Catering Department and be responsible for the co-ordination and on occasion, delivery of a range of departmental training packages which include hand washing, infection control.

On-Call


Please note that senior positions (AFC band 8A or above) may be expected to participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational.


The duties and responsibilities should be undertaken in accordance with the levels of competence as defined in the KSF outline of the post.

In addition, all staff are expected to act in accordance with the values and behaviours of the Trust.
