  • To update and maintain the Synergy admissions database for Hounslow schools, and any other records, to an exceptionally high level of accuracy and data verification.
  • To provide administrative support to the Secondary Team for all aspects of the school admissions process, including dealing with enquiries from members of the public, schools and other agencies by telephone including the duty line, in person and in writing.

Your Skills:

  • Experience of using IT software for data entry and management with good working knowledge of utilising databases for tracking and producing reports.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, deliver to tight deadlines under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and taking responsibility for own workload.
  • Experience in a client-based service, providing a high level of customer service whilst dealing sensitively with complex and/or distressing situations, preferably in a school or school admission setting.
  • In depth knowledge of current legislation and statutory procedures relating to school admissions and appeals, such as the Government's School Admissions and Appeals Codes.
