LED ST3 FULL TIME - Fixed Term post for 6 months

EMERGENCY MEDICINE
This post is covering a training vacancy and will incorporate the same rota and training opportunities as an HST.

A new an exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the small and friendly Emergency Department at Harrogate District Hospital which has a reputation for excellence.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide support and a comprehensive acute care service within the Trust.

The post also includes regular teaching which parallels the Emergency medicine curriculum and HST training consisting of weekly teaching sessions along with self-directed learning/CPD sessions for the equivalent of 1⁄2 day per week.

This is an exciting time to join the Trust which is one of the highest performing NHS Trusts in the UK.

The rota provides 24 hour cover with 1:4 weekends worked.

You will be joining a cohesive team led by 10 consultants (9.1 WTE) with a wide breadth of teaching experience and backgrounds.

Successful applicants should have completed a significant length of time in postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine and/or other relevant specialties.
