Description
I am working with a multinational business who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team in a role with a primary focus to support the UK and European entities through timely, accurate and insightful management information and reportingfor commercial interpretation.
Following some projects that are currently underway there will be a move to a more business partnering role where you will be working and supporting the UK and other entities.
Key responsibilities of the role will be:
- Lead the Budget and Forecasting process for the entities, challenging assumptions as well as communicating targets out to the business and ongoing monitoring of performance
- Develop mechanism for analysing portfolio profitability for pricing and capacity planning decision making
- Manage the financial integrity and performance, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting and month end close in line with the periodic reporting calendar and drive Cashflow improvement actions across the entities
- Contribute to the development of a small team to a high performing finance function building team spirit, skills and competences continuously
- Coordinate the delivery of annual Statutory Audits in partnership with the company auditors
- Oversee completion of Tax computations and filings with the Group tax team and external tax advisers
- Plan, manage and collaborate with Group Treasury for entity cash management and FX exposure optimisation
