Overview of Responsibilities

Who are we looking for?

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical administrator to join a large diverse team of coordinators, offering you a great network of support.

You will be responsible for supporting a range of engineering projects which will create a breadth of duties and very interesting pieces of work.

As a Technical Coordinator, you must have previous experience of technical report writing and you must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

It is imperative that you have exceptional planning and organisation skills, as well as possess a HNC/Apprentice or equivalent in a Scientific or Engineering related discipline.


What you will be responsible for:

  • Creation and management of key technical documentation for the project.
  • The projectcontrolled database, the project changes/deviation database and the NCR database.
  • Supporting the project(s) change management process and procedures.
  • Producing technical reports, specifications, tender documentation with supervision.
  • Manipulating technical data, such as project KPI's using Microsoft Excel.
  • Secretary duties including organising technical meetings, taking minutes and action follow up.
Salary
£27,899 to £29,761 + excellent benefits including outstanding pension

Qualifications

Essential Criteria & Skills:


  • HNC/Apprentice or equivalent in Scientific or Engineering related discipline.
  • IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access.
  • Excellent technical report writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Desirable Criteria & Skills:


  • Awareness of Quality Management or systems.
  • Awareness of purchasing systems.
