Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities to include:


  • Assisting in the operations of the Accounting Department
  • To ensure that all routine processing is completed in an accurate manner to satisfy daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines.
  • Assisting in the tracking and management of client and supplier payment status.
  • Assisting in the creation and issue of invoices via company software.
  • Assisting in the creation and management of company financial reports.
  • Manage P&L and cash flow projection.
  • Identify company savings through knowledgeable accountancy processes.
  • Assisting with the management and preparation of VAT returns in conjunction with company partner.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting requirements.
  • Updating all company systems.
  • Assisting in building improved payment terms with suppliers.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and improvement of current systems, internal processes and filing systems.
  • Communication with other departments relating, but not limited to, finance and credit control.
  • Assisting with general office administration.
  • Assisting in any other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong customer service mentality.
  • High attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, highly motivated, proactive with a 'will do/can do' attitude.
  • Knowledge of Office 365, Excel and Xero.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
