Accounts Assistant
Responsibilities to include:
- Assisting in the operations of the Accounting Department
- To ensure that all routine processing is completed in an accurate manner to satisfy daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines.
- Assisting in the tracking and management of client and supplier payment status.
- Assisting in the creation and issue of invoices via company software.
- Assisting in the creation and management of company financial reports.
- Manage P&L and cash flow projection.
- Identify company savings through knowledgeable accountancy processes.
- Assisting with the management and preparation of VAT returns in conjunction with company partner.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting requirements.
- Updating all company systems.
- Assisting in building improved payment terms with suppliers.
- Assisting in the evaluation and improvement of current systems, internal processes and filing systems.
- Communication with other departments relating, but not limited to, finance and credit control.
- Assisting with general office administration.
- Assisting in any other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong customer service mentality.
- High attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, highly motivated, proactive with a 'will do/can do' attitude.
- Knowledge of Office 365, Excel and Xero.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
