Our Company Secretarial team provides a comprehensive service to over 500 companies to ensure they each comply with their administrative obligations under company law, allowing them to get on with running their business.
Your experience will probably have been acquired at a national, regional or City law firm or accountancy practice where you have been involved in a specialist company secretarial role.
Alternatively, you may be in a more general role now but have sufficient knowledge of this area of law and the related administrative procedures to specialise and head up our team on an interim, fixed-term basis.
You could be a solicitor, Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators or hold other relevant qualifications but your expertise and attitude will be far more important.
It would be highly advantageous and preferred if you had a detailed working knowledge of the Blueprint / Diligent Entities company secretarial software product.
Typical Workload
The team provides, in conjunction with our team of corporate transactional lawyers where appropriate, a full range of registered office and company secretarial services, including:
- Providing a registered office address and mail forwarding facility
- Preparing and maintaining registers of members, directors and other statutory records
- Filing annual confirmation statements and other statutory documents at Companies House
- Preparing minutes and resolutions for board and shareholder meetings
- Incorporation of private limited companies (limited by shares and guarantee), public companies and LLPs
