Research Associate:
£33,966 to £44,263 per annum

The Role

You will join a diverse community of colleagues based in the School of Engineering at Newcastle University. This position is funded through the Medical Research Council (MRC) in conjunction with Versus Arthritis.

The project will be supervised by Professor O'Neill at Newcastle University and will involve collaboration with colleagues at the University of Bristol.

The aim of the project is to investigate bioelectronic systems for sensory testing related to neuropathy and microneurography.

Collaboration with renowned academic experts and clinicians in the field of neurography.

Working within a cross-disciplinary team, where you'll utilise cutting-edge techniques such as design, semiconductor cleanroom fabrication, device characterisation, and verification.

Publishing your groundbreaking research in esteemed journals and presenting your findings at prestigious international conferences.


This is a full-time position available from the 01 June 2024, and is fixed-term for a duration of 24 months.
