Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to join our clients team. As a Supervisor you will be responsible for a small team on a marine renovation project.

This is a hands on role, so you will be responsible for welding, fabricating and assembling, using various welding techniques.

This is a full-time position with an excellent contract rate per hour.

Responsibilities:

Perform welding tasks using power tools and hand tools
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Fabricate and weld metal components according to project requirements
Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of welded products
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Oversee a small team of workers on the project.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder
Proficient in various welding techniques
Strong marine knowledge and ability to read blueprints
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is a plus
Good PC skills to complete paperwork for the project on site

This role is for a duration of 6-9 months then reviewed, hours of work are

7.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 3pm Friday, 47.5 hour working week.
