Description

In order to ensure your transition and ongoing support in your role at East Cheshire Trust a package of support will be provided for you which will include, a paid 1 week structured induction within the department you will work.

A designated educational and clinical supervisor for the duration of your placement at the trust and the use of a personalised 'Horus' portfolio in which to document your clinical/extracurricular activities.

Additionally, a £500 study leave budget, pro rata if working less than full time, will be available to you to support course attendance.


Duties will include senior-supervised theatre sessions, providing anaesthetic support to the ED, attendance on acute pain ward rounds, and the care of critically ill patients throughout the hospital.


Although this post is not recognised for training and cannot be signed off for achievement of core training competencies, you will be encouraged to attend departmental teaching for professional development and you will be well supported by senior colleagues.


If you have lived or worked abroad for 6 months or more in the last 5 years you will need to obtain an overseas police clearance.
