Learning Support Assistant - Full-time - Start ASAP - Portslade, East Sussex

If so, this is the role for you


Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support individual needs (1:1) for our client, a fantastic, forward-thinking & ambitious primary school in Portslade.

You will support the team in providing an opportunity for your designated young person to engage and enjoy the core curriculum and other activities.

£76 per day minimum (£11.68 per hour).


Requirements:


  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one
  • Resilience
  • Understanding vulnerable young people & how to approach sensitive situations
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
  • Confident working with children & young people in SEN/SEMH
  • Experience working with children & young people (desired)
  • Experience working with children & young people in SEN (desired)

Responsibilities:


  • Support class teacher
  • Support the pupils with their tasks/activities & wellbeing
  • Understand the individual needs of each student & adapt the approach accordingly
