We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work with our client near Glasgow airport.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will have a variety of responsibilities which include:


  • Processing Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Maintaining Purchase Ledger
  • Preparing and processing bank payments and bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assisting in timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll
  • Assisting in timely payment offshore payroll
  • Reconciliation of crew advances, deductions, homeallotments and expenses
  • Posting monthend journals
  • From time to time, undertake other tasks that are considered to be relevant to your position
  • You will also be responsible for elements of the month end process, such as posting of monthend journals, and reconciliations of crew cash advances and deductions


We are looking for someone with 1-2 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant role, who has a keen eye for detail, a strong working knowledge of Excel, a good team player and is very organised.

Our client is offering a basic salary of up to £30K along with a generous benefits package.

This is an office based role - Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5 pm and there is free on-site car parking.
