Job Purpose:


To manage the Getinge UKI car fleet and all associated processes and to lead us towards a smart benefits landscape by effectively managing our current suite of employee benefits and all associated processes and to evaluate and introduce new and competitive benefits to improve attraction & retention, organizational trust and employee satisfaction.


Key duties and responsibilities:

Car Fleet Management - to support Getinge's commitment to be carbon neutral by 2025, we are currently in the process of eliminating diesel company cars entirely from our fleet and reducing the number of hybrid cars in favour of fully electric vehicles

  • Responsible for driving our environmental fleet targets
  • Responsible for developing and improving the UK&I car policy
  • Responsible for the negotiation and management of the car leasing contracts for a fleet of c. 200 cars in the UK and ROI
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate and cost effective insurance protection cover for the company car fleet and other appropriate vehicles driven on Getinge business on a short term or ad hoc basis e.g. hire cars or courtesy cars
  • Managing the driving licence checking process and the approval process for nominated drivers
  • Managing the MOT, road tax, servicing and maintenance schedules for the company car fleet
  • Accident Management to include liaising with employees, management, leasing company, insurer, HR, H&S Manager, Finance, repair centre etc.
  • Car allocation to new starters and control of movement of cars between existing employees. Coordination of the timely deliveries of cars to new starters or car changers and collection of cars from leavers
  • Responsible for the management and auditing of the condition of the company car fleet
  • Liaise with key Getinge stakeholders in relevant departments to resolve questions/issues
  • Maintain appropriate car allocation records and prepare and submit P11d's
  • Provide appropriate car details to employees for them to update their HMRC records
Employee Benefits - to support Getinge's commitment to be an Employer of choice

  • Conduct benchmarking analysis
  • Advise and guide the Leadership Team on the introduction of new benefits to ensure Getinge is competing as an employer of choice
  • Responsible for the contract renewals and negotiations of all contracts relating to employee benefits e.g. Private Healthcare, Death in Service scheme, Employee Assistance Program, PHI, Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, perks and discount schemes
  • Support the Finance team with pension management
  • Deliver informative and interactive sessions to employees to launch or refresh information relating to the employee benefits available to them
  • Provide a one on one service to employees who need support when choosing, joining or using our employee benefits including liaising with the benefit provider and key Getinge stakeholders e.g.
Finance/HR/H&S or external providers e.g. Occupational Health

  • Getinge's key contact for our employee benefits providers
  • Provide relevant information to appropriate internal Getinge departments with regards to the management and delivery of employee benefits
  • Maintain appropriate employee benefits records and prepare and submit P11d's

Other:


  • Create appropriate IT solutions to record, update, report and communicate vital information between relevant stakeholders
  • Provide support to the HR & Finance teams with tasks relating to employee benefits, salaries & other remuneration e

g:

  • Salary benchmarking
  • Commission & bonus schemes development
  • Leave provision and the appropriate associated pay e.g. maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, study leave, care leave etc.
  • Gender pay gap analysis
  • Any other reasonable tasks which support the HR, H&S, Finance departments

Quality System Duties and Responsibilities:

Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.


Knowledge/Skills/Experience:


Each organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities.
