Description

Fantastic opportunity for a good Credit Control to join an amazing, very stable team. The role will be office based for the probation period.

Conducting credit checks on new customers

Resolving problems in relation to invoice payments

Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debt of company debtors

Evaluate new credit requests

Ensuring timely payment of debts as per our agreed payment terms

Processing and reconciliation of invoices

Managing customer rebates, ORD, and other deductions

Lead meetings with other credit controller, sales managers, and directors to discuss overdue debt, credit limits, outstanding debit notes (rebates, marketing, price/stock deductions), potential problematic customers and finding/implementing solutions

Making decisions on disputed accounts

Reducing DSO

Liaising with insurer to discuss any credit limit issues

Reconciliation of key customer accounts

Conducting month end financial reconciliation

Approving credit requests and customer debit notes

Monitoring discretionary credit limit customers

Maintaining accurate records

Involvement in year end audit
