As the Secretarial Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and inspiring a team of secretaries while providing crucial administrative support to fee earners.


Key Duties:

Team Leadership: Line manage the secretarial team in the Property department, addressing issues proactively, monitoring workflow, and implementing effective problem-solving strategies.

Performance Management: Conduct regular reviews and monthly 1-2-1s, managing sickness absence and performance to ensure a high level of efficiency within the team.

Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process of new secretaries, contributing to the growth and success of the team.

Comprehensive Secretarial Support: Provide proactive secretarial and administrative assistance, including drafting and amending documents, requesting property searches, completion of Land Registry forms, financial administration, file management, managing diaries, and digital dictation for at least one fee earner.

Organisational Skills: Highly organised and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Communication Skills: Confident, professional, and assured communication style, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, fee earners, and clients.

Leadership Qualities: Proven experience in leading a Secretarial team, demonstrating leadership by example and building trust and rapport within the firm.

Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the property sector, bringing valuable insights to the team.
