Job Purpose:

As a Career Advisor at Get Set UK, your role is all about nurturing the professional growth and success of our customers.

You'll provide transformative career insights, advice, and guidance through one-to-one interviews and group sessions. Your professionalism and commitment to supporting our diverse customer base will drive your daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:

Provide Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) to support the customer's career development.
Inspire and empower customers through individual coaching and dynamic group workshops.
Help customers identify employment choices and overcome obstacles, tailoring guidance to their unique needs.

Administration Responsibilities:

Craft strategic action plans for employment and training.
Document the customer's journey to ensure compliance with the contract delivery.

Key Skills Required:

Level 3 qualification in Careers/IAG.
Confidence in working in a targetdriven environment.
Exceptional communication, empathy, and problemsolving skills.
Ambitious and innovative in supporting customers to find sustainable employment.
CV writing ability to empower customer growth.
Networking skills to support commercial growth.
Interview techniques guidance.
Knowledge of computers, data entry, and MS Office.

Education:
Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:
Level 3 IAG Certification: 1 year (required) or willing to complete in the first month of employment.

Employability: 1 year (desirable).

Mentoring:1 year (Desirable)
