Job Overview
Identify opportunity, understand return on investment and support the business in making data driven decisions on system development. Evaluate business change internal to finance and external from the wider business for impact to finance systems. Understandthe cost and risk of change to establish a backlog of requirements and associated assumptions, risks, and dependencies.

Skills

Coordinate, identify and prioritise solutions required effectively and efficiently
Possess a strong approach to assessing and managing risk
Able to communicate a complicated problem succinctly accurately and coherently to a team with different skill sets
Able to negotiate and compromise solutions and find the balance between best practice, expediency, and longerterm maintenance costs
Ability to communicate with many roles in the business in a way that can easily be understood, to negotiate with senior and inexperienced colleagues to determine the most appropriate solutions

Responsibilities

Ensure the necessary technical support is in place to deliver robust, timely and agile change as and when required
Elicit, elaborate, and maintain vision, drivers, and CSF's
Identify stakeholders, their role and engage them to determine requirements
Build maintain and communicate a release strategy that maximises opportunities for incremental delivery
Identify opportunities to develop systems with due consideration of risk. Derive a set the change(s) required and support the development of release plans.
Express requirements to ensure the value is clear, can be estimated and tested
Maintain a backlog of change, elaborated at the appropriate level with consideration for the required delivery timeline. Communicated for the part of the develop
