Team Leader

Permanent


Permanent Salary:
£11.50 per hour


Start Date:

ASAP

Hours: 44 hrs per week

Monday to Sunday ( including weekends
- working on a rota basis

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Providing the highest possible quality of care to our customers
  • Leading the staff team
  • Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Assisting service users with daily living tasks, which may include personal care
  • Ensuring service user's confidentiality is maintained at all times
  • Regular communication with the office team
  • Understanding and knowledge of Mental Health conditions and strategies to improve health and well being
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults
  • Person Centred and values based in your approach
  • Experience of line management and/or of working in a supervisory capacity (this can include managing volunteers and training, mentoring or supporting junior staff

Essential requirements:


  • A good level of written and spoken English
  • Be prepared to undertake training as required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responsible for line managing Support Workers
- this will include 121s, supervisions, ensuring SLAs met and providing support and advice and guidance to staff

  • Supporting Workers in delivering targeted work with individuals to plan their support and achieve the goals and outcomes that are important to them
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of team working and listening, sharing and responding to feedback from people who use the service.
  • Providing support and advice to staff around safeguarding issues and work closely with Service Manger on complex issues.
  • Monitoring outcome tools and analyse relevant data to support the Service Manager in delivering on KPI's as required and producing outcomes focused reports.
  • Ensuring all clients received a high quality service and that all actions were carried out by day services.
