Legal & General Investment Management are currently looking for a
Compliance Consultant to support the ESG Regulatory Project with the implementation of SFDR and other EU and UK regulations.


ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE BASED IN MAINLAND UK WITH A VALID RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK.


In this role you will act as a hands-on Consultant providing proactive compliance advice to the business on the implications of ESG regulatory change and not just monitor adherence to regulations.


Principal Accountabilities:


  • Assessment of
    EU ESG Regulations, particularly
    SFDR and associated RTS, MiFID II, UCITS and AIFMD.
  • Identification of
    regulatory interrelationships overlaps and
    inconsistencies.
  • Conducting
    Impact Analysis.

Presenting to and advising senior leaders and committees (ExCo for example).

  • Provision of feedback to
    EU Regulatory consultation processes.
  • Assist the Compliance Team with
    regulatory BAU tasks and regulatory requirements, working in a highly
    collaborative, matrix team
  • At least
    2 years' experience in roles where you have had to
    break down ESG regulations to understand and advise on the impact to the business.
  • Technical exposure and experience in
    Asset Management experience in such companies that have a Pensions arm would be advantageous.

further reaching implications of regulatory change.

  • A
    handson Consultant who is
    proactive and uses their
    initiative.
  • Experience in conducting
    Impact Analysis.
  • Experience in
    presenting to and advising senior leaders and committees.
  • A
    collaborative team player able to operate in matrix team environment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 7 months


Salary:
£550.00-£700.00 per day
