Our client, a small specialist provider of Technical Consultancy services to the Insurance industry, is looking for an Auditor to join their team of market leading experts.


Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Working within a team of 4 auditors to complete insurance underwriting audits
  • Bordereaux data analysis to select risk samples for testing
  • Review underwriting records and capture findings in spreadsheet format
  • Communication with client agents to collate details of underwriting processes and clarify queries
  • Collaborate with senior auditors to prepare client reports
  • Attend client meetings to support debrief of audit findings and discuss recommendations

Experience and Skills required:

  • Minimum 10 years insurance experience
  • Good understanding of professional / financial classes of business including Warranty & Indemnity and Guarantee
  • Underwriting and/or broker background previous audit experience is not essential
  • Strong attention to detail with clear and accurate presentation of working documents
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels both verbally and in writing
  • Confidence to work equally within a project team and also independently
  • European language skills an advantage in particular French and/or Italian
This role will provide an excellent opportunity for progression to Senior Auditor and ultimately Director level with potential shareholding. In addition, professional qualifications, in particular ACII with CPD will be actively encouraged and financiallysupported.


It should also be noted that this role involves regular attendance at client agent offices in City of London, as well as some travel elsewhere in the UK and Europe.

However, the company operates on a hybrid basis to support a flexible work life balance.
