Role purpose


Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, Skin Care, the Category Coordinator, Skin Care supports and assists the team and business to drive, manage and to review Aesop's Skin Care portfolio and range, supporting to drive long-term sustainable category growth.

The Category Coordinator is involved in planning and executing the Skin Care Category Strategy, ensuring seamless and consistent approach across the business.

This role will also have partial responsibility to support other categories embedded in the Global Product Category team, providing support in reporting and administrative tasks.


A global role with remit across Asia, ANZ, Europe and Americas, the Category Coordinator, Skin Care will support senior members in strategic planning and preparing for decision making.

The nature of this role requires flexibility in working hours/arrangements to accommodate the need for regular regional/global meetings within and across time zones.

Role responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Category Performance/ Range Review
  • Support Product Life Cycle (PLC) & Pipeline Planning
  • Ongoing Product Support / Plans ('Life after Launch')
  • Sustainability/Circularity
  • Support Customer Pricing | New Products
  • Support Product Communications | New Products and Updates
  • Support Launch Materials | Product Handover I Product Blueprints
  • Support Post Project Analysis

What we are looking for

  • Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment
  • A degree qualification in Business, Marketing, Science.
  • 3+ years category management/ product management experience within the (manufactured) consumer goods and/or beauty industry including time specifically in the relevant category of Fragrance
  • Experience working for a global organisation.
  • Hands on experience in sustainable category work (at relative speed) in a global organisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business/financial understanding.
  • Advanced communication and collaboration/ team work skills;
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence.
  • Exceptional time management and project management skills.
  • Highest level attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Deep affinity of the Aesop brand and its values
