The Details...

Working as a Supply Chain Analyst, the responsibilities for this role are:

  • Support the Supply Chain Manager for Flow Cells to create and implement delivery schedules with suppliers, ensuring the inventory buffer stock is maintained and controlled within agreed ranges
  • Work closely with internal collaborators to understand business requirements and translate this into a clear and accurate plan for suppliers to deliver against
  • Provide forecasts and manage purchase agreements with suppliers to ensure order coverage is in place to support future demand
  • Record and report on the status of suppliers' performance against key performance indicators
  • Raise purchase agreements/requisitions/orders, process works orders and reconcile invoices
  • Relationship management; being the key point of contact for external suppliers and internal departments daily
  • Support the department to provide the endtoend procurement process including the delivery of cost savings, spend under budget and driving innovation
  • Support the change management process for updates and new product introduction including the creation and updating of parts, bills of material, costs, etc. on our ERP and inventory planning systems
  • Assist internal and external partners to resolve any quality alerts
  • Highlight and raise concerns which may impact our customers or business needs
  • Management of buffer stock using Demand Driven Materials Requirement Planning methodologies
  • Proactively manage inventory by reducing the risks of aged/obsolete stock
What We're Looking For...
Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of working in materials planning, procurement or planning role which includes supplier interaction
  • Working knowledge of BOM's, material requirements planning, item setups and cost roll ups
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mentality with a flexible approach to changing daily priorities
  • Has an eye for detail, strong level of accuracy and works well under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to communicate with collaborators at all levels
  • Drive to 'make things happen', enable solutions and use best practices in the process
  • Commercial awareness with a clear understanding of the need to deliver the plan
  • Willing to work hard from day one in a dynamic, fastpaced, constantly evolving company
Preferred

  • Experience managing internal partners, external suppliers and working to very tight deadlines
  • Experience gathering and analysing data to drive planning, delivery and tracking of materials
  • Experience in Office 365, especially Excel, and Dynamics 36
  • Experience of change control processes and implementations
  • Experience of both regulatory and nonregulatory industries
  • Ideally APICS or CIPS qualified but not essential
  • Experience of Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP) would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills
