Description

We at CRS are working with a leading electrical contractor that has a strong reputation for providing professional, innovative and high quality of service.

Services including electrical installation, sustainable energy and specialist systems on Commercial and Industrial Projects.

They are seeking to appoint a Junior Electrical Estimator to be office based and develop their current estimating skills.

As a Junior Electrical Estimator, you will be learning new skills from the Senior Estimator and assist with securing new jobs in the region between £100k and £1m.

You will report to the Senior Estimator/ QS.

Your responsibilities will be:

Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard.
Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from electrical specialists.
Liaising with other members of the estimating team and contracts managers.
Carry out estimates using electronic packages.
Develop working relationships with design consultants, main contractors and clients to establish communication paths.

You will be a time-served electrician with some electrical estimating experience:

Junior Electrical Estimator up to three years advantageous but not essential.
Ideally HNC / HND qualified at least.
Estimating and electrical experience essential.
Strong negotiation skills.
Confident communicator.

The successful Estimator will possess a minimum of 3 years electrical estimating experience. A higher education qualification in Building Services is desirable but not essential. Competitive salary and remuneration package will be tailored to the successful applicant.
