Are you a Quality Engineer looking for a new role?

Are you interested in working for an international Medical Devices manufacturer?


A client of mine based in Southend, Essex is currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.


You will be responsible for maintaining supplied product and material quality to ensure the continuation of manufacturing processes and exceptional customer satisfaction of the product performance and quality.


  • Oversee and manage the selection, evaluation, monitoring, risk assessment and reevaluation of suppliers
  • Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, Measurement System
  • Analysis and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and create correction action plans to addressprocess failures
  • Generate and implement control plans and inspection reports
  • Plan, lead and perform onsite supplier quality audits
  • Support new product development projects
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any nonconformity relating to products, processes or systems
  • Review and approval of technical documents
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
You will be required to have a degree level education in an Engineering or Scientific discipline, or demonstrated equivalent.
Experience working within a Quality Engineering role, within an Electro-Mechanical, Electronics or sterile product manufacturing environment.
Suitable experience working with Quality Assurance, supplier quality development, handling both customers and suppliers.
