Description

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent front of house support, making our external guests and internal colleagues feel welcome and notifying them of our in-house health and safety procedures, always offering excellent customer care skills
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and couriers
  • Ordering taxis and advising on public transport
  • Taking ownership of reception environment, ensuring it always looks professional and welcoming
  • Management of our meeting rooms (bookings, catering, set up etc.)
  • Reporting any office maintenance and equipment issues as required, or where appropriate take necessary action
  • Managing stock and issue of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Checking and replenishing first aid stock
  • Update register of first aiders/fire wardens and mental health ambassadors within the office each day
  • Managing stock of stationery, catering, and all consumables
  • Minute/note taking as required at team/office meetings
  • Working collaboratively with other offices and staff members, providing support as required, setting and maintaining high standards

Essential Skills and Qualifications:


  • Demonstrable Front of House experience in a Cooperate environment
  • Ability to adapt and prioritise, work within busy environments, and follow processes
  • Strong Attention to Detail skills
  • Strong Communication Skills, ability to interpret requirements from Client, Visitor or Employee
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Good Teamworking skills
  • Display an engaging, enthusiastic, and confident manner with an interest in supporting the work we do and providing excellent customer service.
  • Good Time Management skills; Ability to juggle a variety of tasks
  • GSCE level qualifications, level 5/C or above preferred
  • Customer Services Academic Qualifications accepte
  • First Aid
