Who we're looking for


We are looking for a ICT Technical Lead to provide ongoing support of technical expertise and knowledge within Star Academies.

You will be responsible for technical advice and design service to assist the delivery of the ICT vision, policy and strategies and for the oversight, maintenance and development for all ICT functions within the Trust.


You will have:


  • 5 A* Cs at GCSE including English and Maths.
  • Experience of working as a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer in a large ICT environment.
  • Experience in managing virtual machines on VMWare and Hyper-V including resource management and failover clustering.
  • Ability to use MS Office software packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as Visio and Office 36
  • Ability to prioritise, work efficiently and accurately, particularly under pressure, to deadlines and using own initiative.
