Description

Our longstanding client are looking to recruit a Project Controller on a staff basis to assist with ensuring monthly financial management reports are delivered, and clients are invoiced on time, in accordance with the project plan and control processes and standards.

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the Senior Project Controller in encouraging timely invoicing.
  • Analyse financial processes and outcomes in assigned projects, identifying gaps and noncompliance
  • Provide interface with clients and suppliers
  • Participate in and/or coordinate assigned projects to ensure compliance
  • Coordinator of project control processes within assigned projects
  • Provides direction to Operations regarding timely invoicing and other approval processes
  • Assist with the monthend close process in accordance with group reporting requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate bottlenecks in financial processes, techniques, and systems
  • Make improvement suggestions and ensure implementation after approval
  • Process monthend entries and issue periodic and ad hoc reports to project team, including standard data and following standard reporting guidelines.
This role will see you interfacing with a variety of stakeholders so communication skills are key, and ideally you should have a background in Project based Finance work
