Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in their homes or care homes
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and eating
- Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Help in the safe lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients
- Assist in the administration of medication
- Support clients with daily activities and household tasks
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plansSkills:
- Ability to drive to different locations as required
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous
- Proficient in English to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Pay:
£11.50-£12.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chorley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Language:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (preferred)
