Job Description Accounts Receivable Finance Specialist with Stork:
Provide a best in class agreed Accounts Receivable service to customers, to ensure timely and correct management of the cash process in an efficient manner.
Tasks and Responsibilities as Accounts Receivable Finance Specialist:
- Maintain customer records within accounting system
- Process changes to credit limits or payment terms
- Prepare and maintain weekly Debt Report
- Responsible for month end procedures in line with set timetable.
- Find solutions with customers to avoid late or nonpayment
- Daily posting of cash receipts into accounting system and reconciliation with outstanding invoices. Assess risk of nonpayment based on payment history and risk reports(e.g. D&B reports)
- Settle intercompany invoices by communicating with all parties
- Maintains documentation in line with controlled Accounts Receivable processes
- Analyses the process and makes proposals for process improvements
- Improves expertise by external and/or internal training (including training on the job)

Specific Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Finance Specialist**:
Experience and Skills
- Communication skills especially by phone; convincing skills and solving problems
- Experience in a finance department would be beneficial
- Adequate knowledge mix of finance processes;
- Knowledge of ERPsystems;
- Experience using Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word)
