Upto £25,000 per annum, plus Veolia benefits


Hours:43 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 & every other Saturday 06:00 - 12:00

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Operative to join our team in
Rochester, Kent, ME2 4DZ


At Veolia our Site Operatives are responsible for operating the necessary plant equipment involved in the handling, sorting and transferring of waste.

By joining Veolia as a Site Operative you are playing your part in helping us to combat climate change.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring the yard area is kept clean.
  • Marshalling vehicle movement around the site at busy times.
  • Assisting site supervisor in day to day running of site operations.

What are we looking for?

  • Wheeled loading shovel licence and 360 licence with experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of using a weighbridge system is desirable.
  • Reversing assistant experience is desirable.
