Full-time Maths Cover Supervisor Wanted for Outstanding Secondary School in Greenwich

Are you passionate about mathematics and education? Do you have the skills and experience to support students' learning in a secondary school setting? We are seeking a talented and dedicated Maths Cover Supervisor to join our outstanding secondary school in Greenwich.

Position:
Full-time Maths Cover Supervisor

Times: 8.15am - 3.30pm; Mon - Fri

Responsibilities:

Provide cover lessons for absent Maths teachers, delivering preplanned lessons and ensuring students' engagement and progress.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and structured learning environment.
Support students in their understanding of mathematical concepts and problemsolving skills.
Collaborate with the Maths department to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery.
Assist in the planning and preparation of resources for lessons.
Although based in the Maths department, all cover supervisors are expected to cover across the whole school depending on the needs on the day

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively.
Experience working with secondary school students, preferably in a teaching capacity.
Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions.
