About BTS

BTS is a global professional services firm headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with some 1000 professionals in 36 offices located on six continents.

The pace of change is increasing before our very eyes. In this environment, the primary barrier to success and progress for businesses is no longer technology.

Rather the crucial factor is people - in their ability to learn, adapt and thrive, and for leaders to inspire and sustain their people through change.

This is where BTS comes in.

We focus on the people side of strategy, working with leaders at all levels to help them make better decisions, convert these decisions to actions and deliver results.

At our core, we believe people learn best by doing.

For over 30 years, we've been designing fun, powerful experiences that have profound and lasting impact on people and their careers.

We inspire new ways of thinking, build critical capabilities and unleash business success. It's strategy made personal.

Our consultants work directly with Global Fortune 1000 CEOs, CFOs, CLOs as well as leaders at every level of the organization to build alignment and execution capability around key strategic priorities.

We work in small teams to develop customized business simulations and other learning solutions and then we facilitate learning journeys directly with our clients in a workshop setting that incorporates humour, fun and competition.

BTSers are expected to be team players, leaders and entrepreneurs. Our organization is intentionally flat.

What you'll do in your role

All our roles at BTS are asked to do three things - develop client relationships, design solutions and deliver our programmes.

Within the Strategy & Business Modelling team, the business analyst role however, focuses predominantly on design and delivery.

You'll focus on conducting research and handling client data.

You'll do this, working within a small internal team, to partner with leaders from some of the world's leading corporations - Global 100 and 500 companies.

You'll learn how their business works and what their strategies are. You'll use this information to conceptualise and model the relevant strategic aspects in simulations used in our client solutions. Each simulation is built from scratch and is entirely bespoke to fit the needs of our clients.

You'll also present the concept to the client, participate in project management and then delivery of the simulation with the client participants.

Variety is key in all our roles. You'll work on multiple projects at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. You'll travel when you're delivering a programme which comes out to approximately 20% of the time. And this is all done in a team-based setting where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day

What we're looking for
You have some understanding of economic and external forces at work within the business world. You're able to summarise and distil complex concepts and communicate these with clarity. An ability to present credibly to a large room is a plus.

You can work at pace and are happy working within a small internal team liaising directly with client.

You are able to focus for hours at a time, sometimes on your own, completing the business modelling required for our simulations.

That's just the design piece. For delivery you'll also be able to communicate effectively with everyone you meet. You'll be able to communicate everything you know in lay terms and bring people with you in your enthusiasm. You'll be skilled in leveraging a variety of communication channels.

A desire and ability to present to a room that typically has 20 to 30 smart, eager people in it is a must.

You will be based in our London headquarters and will be willing to travel internationally occasionally to present your work.

Proficiency in English is essential for this role. While fluency in French and German is considered a valuable asset, it is not a mandatory requirement.

You will need eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship. We do not provide working visas.
