Description

Residential Care Workers required at one of our specialist shcools in the Thanet area. They area Residential Special School in sunny south east coast.

On the 13 acres site there are 7 children's homes, 5 term time homes and 2 all year round homes.

ResidentialSupport Staff enrich the young people's lives by helping them with going to school in the morning, after-school activities, hobbies, free-time and bedtime routines.

This might include but is not limited to swimming (in our on-site pool), cycling, football,trips to town, rock climbing, supporting young people in part-time jobs or on our farm project.

The young people have a variety of interests and we need staff that can help them fulfil their potential. In return we offer a fulfilling career with opportunityto develop.

As mentioned above, we have both term time and all year around homes. Because of this we have 41 week and 52 week contracts.

When relaying the information below please note:

41 weeks consists of 38 weeks of term time, 5x INSET days, 2 weeks Short Term Break (we run 2 Short Term Break provisions one week in Easter one in Summer, staff may do 1 week in Easter and one in Summer or 2 weeks in Summer) Rotas for STB go out over a monthin advance and we try to accommodate staff requests as much as possible.

MCW - Monday - Friday hours a week but can be offered as 16 hours to qualify for childcare 2 shifts will be extended to 11am)

RLSA and Keyworker - Week 1 = 3 x Split Shifts & Long Day on the Weekend some sleep in's required
