An esteemed
firm is seeking a to add a Senior
Carbon Emissions analyst to the team. Your role will be centred around providing accurate and informative analysis of the European carbon emissions market.

This is a
senior role and as such you will have a significant amount of
responsibility and a direct impact on the success of the fund and ultimately, the
economy as a whole.

In the role you will:

Provide accurate and
sophisticated analysis of
global carbon pricing and
emissionsmarkets in
European carbon markets:
Be reporting into a portfolio manager be required to
adapt quickly to changes in the market and think on your feet

Collaborate with internal economists and portfolio managers to produce unrivalled
thematic reports to help augment the firms understanding of the
impact of climate change on the economy

Analyse investments across the energy, renewables and carbon trading markets

You will also be surrounded by and learning from some of the
strongest analysts and will therefore need to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and adapt to the people around you.

The client are looking for:

At least
5 years in a related profession
At least a
Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields
: physical or atmospheric science, economics, meteorology or environmental science from a leading school
Experience
analysing investments in energy, renewables or carbon trading/pricing
A
passion for climate science and adaptation
Excellent
communication skills
Ability to work
independently and within a
team
