Day Care Assistant


At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a day care assistant to work in one of our residential care facilities, Southwell Court on a full time, 48h/pw, permanent basis, £12.30 per hour.


Southwell Court is a modern and spacious residential care facility for the elderly situated within the village of Melbourn, Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant:


  • Support the physical and emotional needs of our residents and their general day to day activities around the home, improving and making a difference to their everyday lives.
  • Assist residents with their personal care, including washing, lifting/hoisting, bathing and toileting.

Requirements of a Care Assistant:


  • Caring personality and caring nature
  • Positive attitude and outlook
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to complete physical tasks
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Flexibility with working hours
