Assistant Farm Manager, Breeders.

Assistant farm manager to be responsible for supporting the Farm manager with the day to day running of the farm.

To ensure the highest standard of bird welfare and safe working practices. To maintain strict biosecurity measures.

Duties

To cover holidays for the manager
Working alternate weekends and bank holidays
To manage ventilation, feed, water and lighting to our set standards.
Cover for the alarm system as required.
To ensure all paperwork is recorded accurately.
To maintain the site in a clean, tidy and presentable manner at all times.
Will be required to take training courses
Ensure compliance with the Red Tractor Assurance Scheme and is audit ready at all times.

Essential Qualifications

Literate/Numerate
Documentation recording
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
To carry out manual duties
NVQ Level 3 Agriculture
Training will be given

Experience
Experience in poultry preferred, but not essential.

Mentor will be provided

Personal Attributes

Team Player
Flexible approach to work
Must have own transport

Full time - Monday to Friday with alternative weekends and bank Holidays

Salary - £25,000.00 plus productivity bonus
