About You

***We offer an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate to manage a collaborative innovation partnership between Warwick Business School, the University of Warwick and Morgan Sports Law, a company that specialises in sports arbitration and litigation.


The successful applicant will work with large, unstructured datasets of documents and will be responsible for developing deep learning NLP models and for providing the partner company with the necessary expertise and infrastructure for its future development.


The position offers:

  • Opportunity to influence the operations and strategy of the largest dedicated sports disputes resolution team in Europe, which routinely acts in some of the world's highest profile sports disputes (see for example the cases of Tyson Fury, Dillian Whyte, Chris Froome and Maria Sharapova). The successful applicant will routinely work directly with a wide range of Morgan Sports Law personnel, including those in the legal, innovation, marketing, finance, and management teams.
  • The invaluable experience of independently managing a highprofile project.
  • Mentoring and support from academic staff and industry professionals alike.

The Academic Team:
This is a project supported by an experienced academic team at the University of Warwick.

The Accelerated Knowledge Transfer (AKT) will be supervised by Dr Zhewei Zhang, and be associated with the Warwick Business School (WBS), a research-led, triple-accredited university-based business school with a portfolio of world-class programmes.
