Are you a passionate and creative cook? would you enjoy devising and delivering a simple yet creative high quality delicious menu of hot and cold meals/snacks?

We are looking for a dynamic cook to join our small and enthusiastic team at Bread and Butties in Northenden.

Ideally you should have some experience of working in a commercial kitchen, be a good communicator, flexible, focussed and self motivated.

The role will include:

Managing delicious menus of hot and cold meals/snacks.
Preparing and delivering meals of the highest quality possible and well presented.
Providing for special dietary requirements where necessary and any special preferences of the customer
Maintaining a clean, sanitised and hygienic kitchen environment in accordance with food safety and hygiene protocols.
Ordering food and consumables, re stocking fridges and freezers as necessary.
Maintaining a stock record
Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
Monitoring and training team members

Skills for success:

Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols
Experience in cooking in a commercial kitchen/ environment
Ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands
Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team

You would receive 28 days paid annual leave per year.

From £10.42 per hour
